CLASSIC SAILING YACHTS

RING ANDERSEN

s/v Ring Andersen
Ring Andersen is a 114-foot (LOA) Baltic ketch commissioned as a Baltic cargo vessel in 1948 at the Ring Andersen Shipyard in Svendborg, Denmark. She was converted to a sailing yacht in 1962 in Jutland, Denmark. Between 1980 and 1983 she was fully rebuilt at the Ring Andersen Shipyard where she was originally built. Today, the beautiful Ring Andersen offers every advantage of a brand new yacht. She gives you not only the latest technologies, but also the old world luxury and intangible nobility of a true classic. Fore and aft of the teak-panelled main salon are three handsome double staterooms. Each has been beautifully finished in a different wood: rich French walnut, golden Danish elm, and rare rosewood with mahogany molding.

SINCERITY

Sincerity, charter yacht, Paradise Connections Virgin Islands
Sincerity, a 92-foot Edwardian Marconi ketch full of character and spirit, was built in 1928 by Baglietto for the founder and owner of the Italian automobile company, Fiat. In 1998 she was completely restored and at the same time cleverly modernized by incorporating the latest technology while retaining all her original features. Rich mahogany panelling and furniture, brass portholes and detailed marquetry provide comfortable and well designed accommodation for up to five guests in three well-appointed cabins. The main salon offers dining for eight people and the original chairs and table are among features from a past era that still remain; plus historic panels which were connected with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.

WHITEHAWK

Whitehawk, charter yacht, Paradise Connections, Virgin Islands
Whitehawk, with her sleek, traditional lines and impeccable detailing, certainly is nothing short of a spectacular showcase for fine wood craftsmanship, with contemporary updating for a truly classic yet modern appeal. Styled after the famous Herreshoff racing vessel Ticonderoga, the 105’ Whitehawk was designed by renowned Maine yacht designer Bruce King and commissioned in 1978. Her hull is one of the largest ever built using the Wood Epoxy Saturation Technique (WEST SYSTEM®), which insures superior strength along with incredible lightness. With a crew of five to expertly attend a charter group’s every need, Whitehawk comfortably accommodates up to six overnight guests and up to 25 for day sails and social gatherings. Her three air-conditioned double staterooms each have a private bath, with the master stateroom featuring a queen-sized bed and a stunning bathtub carved out of Maine cedar.
